On Oct 23-25 December 4th through 6th.
The Startup Weekend Website says:
Startup Weekend is a 54 hour startup event that provides networking, resources and incentives for individuals and teams to go from idea to launch. Get connected with local developers, innovators and entrepreneurs. Build community. Start Companies. No Talk, All Action.
From all of the Twitter traffic, the latest Startup Weekend in Redmond was a great success. I see that Roy Leban, one of the WAC 2009 participants participated and was able to get something up that generated revenue at the event.
We are working on putting together a Startup Weekend for Corvallis: http://corvallis.startupweekend.org
We will hold the event on October 23-25th December 4th thru 6th at the Belle Vallee Winery in Corvallis.
We could use use your help to make this a great event:
* If you think this is for you, please sign up to attend
* Please pass this on to your network to make sure the word gets out
* If you have an idea, start talking to your friends and put together a team
* Please send in suggestions, questions and opportunities.
I was at the Portland Startup Weekend about a year ago, when Mugasha got started. Now they have launched as a company. It is great progress. Hopefully we can do the same kind of thing at the event in Corvallis.
To help us get ready for the Startup Weekend in Corvallis, I would like to point you to an article by Danielle Morrill from Seattle. It is a very interesting post about Making the most of Startup Weekend:

I hope you can explore some of her suggestions in detail by joining us at the event along with your friends.
